Who are eligible to become a Student Member?
Every candidate for election or transfer to the category of member shall satisfy the Council of any one of the following requirements:
- The applicant is a registered undergraduate offering any subject in the field of Biology and related fields in a recognized university.
- The applicant has passed such qualifying examinations or sections of examinations with evidence as are acceptable to the Council.

Please download the application, fill it and email with a recent biodata and other relevant particulars as specified in the application to, the Secretary/IOBSL.
- Email: Scanned copies of the completed and signed application as a single PDF to: [email protected]
Applications must reach the secretary by the end of the month to be tabled at the following month’s council meeting. The outcome of your application will be notified soon after the council confirms. The effective date of your membership is the council date of it’s approval and the membership awarding letter will be emailed to you.
